His time in Spurs have got him 46 goals in 101 games.
i think.

He probably have won everything he can in Spurs

The team so far have been impressing me
during the pre-season.
Competition for places have never been
so fierce before.

Goalkeepers;
3 great goalkeepers with sufficient experience
to rotate in the team.
Van der Sarr, Ben Foster and Kuszhack(however u spell it)

Defense;
Strong experience defense.
I could see Silvestre,O'shea, Gary and Evans fighting for a place.
Who knows Brazilian twins can pop out in the team sheet
once in a while.

Midfield;
The lights of Nani and Anderson will be important to the team,
to slowly replace Scholes and Giggs in the long run.
Park,Martin,Fletcher will get games in between
Owen, Scholes, Carrick , Anderson, Ronaldo, Giggs,Nani.

Strikeforce;
Tevez have been brilliant during the pre-season.
I could see him only getting better. As for Rooney,
it's his turn to shine.
I hope Manucho's paper will get through.
Frazier Campbell will get a game or two.

Hit or Miss?

Scolari joined Chelsea for almost a week already.
Yeah of course people regard him as a world class
manager because he won the world cup.

I don't know why something inside me says
that Scolari will struggle in his first season
but will finish top 4 in the BPL,
Probably 2nd or 3rd.

He's a MISS.

Samir Nasri joined Arsenal recently,
I've been a fan of Nasri since forever but he joined
Arsenal.
But i want to see him shine in the BPL.
I regard his technique and pace will help him
settle in the league.

He's a HIT.

Berbatov to United?

According to history,
United always always make a signing before their tour.
Like Roy Keane, United signed him before a pre-season tour,
Keane said he wanted to stay and work on his fitness,
but the Gaffer said join the team.

Pre-season is important to get to know your team mates
and get your fitness to the highest level.

So, would you want Berbatov to United?
I would glad to see him here.

He's a proven goal scorer in the BPL,
loads of experince in Europe.

I think he's great.

He's the direct replacement of Ruud.
I pity Ruud cause he didn't win the Champions League with us

Rooney or Tevez will deploy on the left side of midfield.

Arshavin looking at the Nou Camp?
Speculations has circled around probably the best player
so far in the European Championship.

Arshavin's excellent run with Russia alerted interest
from Arsenal, Manchester City, Everton and even Chelsea.

He caught my eye during the UEFA cup final with Zenit.
He's quick, a good dribbler and great vision but unfortunately

Where do i want to see him?

Rooster Slaughtered on Friday the 13th

It wasn't an overnight thing i got for France.
It was in the last World Cup shortly after England got out.
Since then, I've been putting Le Bleu's second behind England.

From what I've seen in the last two group games for France,
they lacked belief. Only Ribery was the adventurous one.
Henry was too.
All i can blame is on the negativity of the style of play.
Makelele and Toulalan are not the right combination for me
personally.
And the goalkeeper Coupet looks lost.

Sagnol,Makelele and Thuram looks like it's the end of their international career.
I hope the manager learn something from this.

Speechless after the final whistle.
Shed a tear or two.

It's because we've reached the finals.
I never had this feeling before.
We deserved it.

It was pure desire and determination.

NOU CAMP revisited.

Well, remember the time not long ago.(in footballing sense it is).
1999.
9 years ago we won the European Cup in Barcelona.
the most dramatic way to win it.
3 minutes in injury time.

To me, we should go out there positively.

Well, many of my friends don't prefer Wayne Rooney
even those who are United fans.

I always stress the importance and the Rooney Factor.
Many would disagree cause you don't see Rooney banging
goals at every single game.
What i can say, when he's playing, you could see a huge difference
in the United play.
More passes more freedom more confidence.

He's my favourite player and i reckon that he will be
the best in the world.

Not many people see his brilliance but United's winning,
Rooney doing something right.
His presence and awareness are huge factors.

Anderson Mania prevails.

To me, Anderson have outdone Steven Gerrard in the recent game.
His passes and his constant pressure really impressed me.
Like i said, United need to pressure in the middle

I always want Anderson to succeed here at Old Trafford.
When he first came, i want him to be a great signing.
Well, he's proving to me he's worth the price.
He's been a huge plus in midfield.

Next up, Anfield.
After many battles, there's always a new one.
United feeling confident going to their fiercest rivals den.
Well, i do feel confident.
Can we win?

Looking at the current situation,
it will hard for both teams to snatch a win.
Liverpool back from a 4-0 win in France.

I have to give them credit over the victory.
They waited for Marseille to make a mistake and they pounce
on a counter.

How to beat them.

United will have to work very hard in the middle cause
the Liverpool fullbacks aren't going to give Giggs and Ronaldo
any space like what they did in France.
French side had to push to the side.

Giggs will be vital cause of his experience and Ronaldo's pace is essential
to drag defenders away so that Tevez and Rooney will have space to work on.
Evra should watch the Israeli winger cause he's the tricky one.
Wes Brown should give a hard tackle to Kewell in the early minutes to shake him off.
Anderson should continue his antics to Gerrard like what he did to Fabregas.

Gerrard and Masherano will start in the middle and Benayoun and Kewell at the flanks.
Torres and Kuyt will be upfront.
Liverpool will defend from the two front men which will limit Rio and Vidic's options who
will be force to play the flanks.
Many would disagree with me that we should avoid playing in the middle, but trust me
the goals will come from the middle.
Anderson and Carrick have to be at their A game if we want to win this.

Where to now Mr Mourinho?

If you've not heard, Mourinho had left Chelsea due to mutual consent.
For me, i think he resigned due to the breakdown of relationship between
him and Roman.

His last game was against Rosenberg in the Champions league which ended
a mere 1-1 draw. Where will we get to see him again?

Spurs? The struggling London team will see out the next 6 games
to decide Martin Jol's future in the club.
Will we see Mourinho there?
Some claims that he will be half of the Chelsea team to Spurs.
What do you think?
I don't see him going to Spurs thats all.

Chelsea players are definitely feeling down after their Special One

My first XI for Man United is:

Goalkeeper: Edwin Van der Sar

Defense :( right to left):

Neville, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra

Midfield: (right to left):

Ronaldo, Hargreaves, Scholes, Giggs

Attack: Rooney, Saha

Subs: Kuszczak, Tevez, Carrick, Nani, Pique

My Tactical Plan:

Neville will be important is this setup, he’s the player who’s going to overlap and delivering crosses into the box (Brown have not mastered). That’s why Saha’s in there; He’s going to fight in the air or scrapping for any lose balls in the box. Neville and Evra will add attacking prowess to the side. Rock solid centre backs won’t be a worry for me.

Ronaldo will go against Cole (always overlap) while Scholes and Giggs will add experience to this big game. Carrick is benched because he doesn’t have the grit Keane had as Essien would be hard to handle. Putting Scholes, creative force alongside a hard player, Hargreaves would give a balance to the team.Giggs may not run like he used to, but his flair would be a factor between a win and a lost.

Rooney and Saha will exchange passes and give opponents hard time with their physical presence and Rooney’s straightforward runs are crowd favorites. If United were to take the lead, I might bring on Nani and Tevez to ease slowly in the team.

As for chasing a goal, Nani and Carrick would be preferred. Carrick’s vision and Nani’s corners might be a deciding factor later.

Oh Captain My Captain!

I rate my captain highly.
To me, he's the best right back in the world.
Before 2 seasons ago, he looked
bad physically and always slows down the game.

But now, he built up his upper body
and have been tremendous form for United.
If he doesn't play, we could see a difference
in the United play.
Currently my Captain oh captain can't be
replaced.

His overlapping runs which
confused the opponents,
his pace now is getting better.
His crosses are up there with the best.
I can't see O'shea or Wes Brown
delivering balls like he does either

Can Da Silva fills Henry's boots?

I've seen clips of Da Silva ,who scored against
England.
He looks like to be a good deal for Arsenal.
Wenger signed him.
Can anything go wrong?

Signing players like Vieira,Henry, Petit,
Overmars , Eboue', Van Persie shows
that Wenger knows the market more
than anyone else.

I think Da Silva would be a reliable player
but i don't think he will be a direct replacement
of Henry cause Walcott will fit nicely to be the
next Henry.

Da Silva would be a player who's going to wait
in the box and strike.

Torres's Dilemma to End

Alectico Madrid have signed Luis Garcia
which means that Torres would go the other way
Good news for Liverpool fans of course.

I've mentioned that United won't buy an
established and highly rated striker cause
Ferguson don't want a huge star
to disrupt the team's play.

So i wish Fernando Torres all the best.
I used to like him till now.

Anderson-Mania NO MORE?

I know i've given alot of hype of the
young Brazilian because he's a Brazilian!

I've watched his two outings for Brazil
during the Copa America.
I would say he's far..very far from
impressive.

He ballooned a free kick and committed
several fouls. In addition, breaking up
the Brazil rhythm.

At this rate,
He's making Kieron Richardson look
like he cost 24 million pounds.

Tevez for United?

Sources claims that United have rekindled interest
in the West ham striker.

For me, i don't see him coming to United.
Not because he won't be selling shirts
by the truckload, just because
i don't see him fitting well with the
current squad.

We have Nani and Ronaldo who can dribble
and be selfish.
By adding another stardom craving Tevez
won't make it better.
We don't need individualistic Tevez.
I know many would say he singled handedly
kept West ham up but he's not a team player.

His agent's tactics on moving clubs
would alert Ferguson on what agents
can do.
Next thing you know he's on his way
to Real Madrid after bagging few millions
from United

But if Ferguson were to sign him,
i would say he would struggle.

Hurricane ( i would only joined when they changed their name).
A team which struggled during it's early days.
Small baby steps were taken then by Firdaus Kassim, the
manager and founder of the team.

We don't play soccer everyday as a team but
when we get together, we give our best
every time.

After a few years on the job, the team's beginning
to make giant leap in football.
Losing was a trend probably 4 or 5 years ago.
It's the opposite now.

Rooney new number

All smiles at Manchester United,
After granting Anderson's work permit,
another youngster was excited for
the coming season.
Who is he?

The former number 8, Wayne Rooney.
He was given the number 10 by Denis Law,
the player who wore it during the 1960s.
The number which was formerly worn by
Ruud van Nistelrooy was vacant so
when given a chance Rooney jumped into it.

He was delighted to get the number 10
as legends in United wore the number and
he would want to be one of them

The 26 year old midfielder from Bayern Munich
has complete his move to United.

Owen Hargreaves signed a 4 year contract
after a year long wait.
Labeled England's best player in the recent
World cup claims that it was probably
the worst kept secret in football.

He will be fighting for a place
in the United first 11.

But for me he's a replacement for Paul Scholes
in years to come.
and he will be a favourite among lady fans.

Mr. Anderson clear to play!

Upon rejection, because Anderson did
not meet the criteria of playing sufficient
international games, United launched
an appeal on grounds of "exceptional talent".

I saw him playing for Brazil against Mexico.
I saw glimpse of Ronaldinho, the way he hold the ball
except he was left footed.
But he looked lazy in my opinion.
So it's the United coaching staff to up his game
and tell him the EPL is the fastest league in
the world.

Liverfool fans are surely jumping for joy
as the news of Torres wanting to leave
Spain for England.
His likely destination is Anfield.

I can't say that I'm sad about it.
But generally I'm quite please about it.
Henry leaving EPL means it's a huge
loss for fans of the EPL as he was a asset
for both EPL and Arsenal.

Torres believed to be worth 25 million pound
and it would break Liverpool record signing
Cisse'. Break=Cisse?
Get it?
Torres has pace and a reputation to be reckon with.
So I can't wait for him to play here cause
I've been an admirer of him since the last European
Championships.
Though it's pain to see one of my favourite players
playing for my least favourite club.
(don't deserve to put the word favourite).
But i think it's good for the EPL.

Anderson-Mania HAS ARRIVED!

Manchester United new signing is set to
play at the Copa America.
Many will expect Robinho and Diego to
rise above others but Anderson's the dark
horse to grab all the attention.

Anderson who plays as an attacking player.
This will be a good stage for the youngster
to keep his feet on the ground before the EPL
season starts against Reading.
I hope he doesn't get lost in all that fame he's
going to get in England.

He claims that he can't wait to team
up with Ronaldo and Rooney.
Anderson, who signed as a 5 year old for Gremio,
was the player of the tournament in the FIFA U17
tournament.

A talent since young.
Can he take the world by storm?
No big pressure on him to succeed
immediately, but as a player young or old,
there's always pressure from somewhere.

Sir Alex brought him for a reason.
Let's wait and see.

If he's that good,
he must be up for COPA AMERICA.

Singapore 1- 2 Saudi Arabia

It was a disappointing turnout in the Kallang
Stadium.
A World Cup team up against the ASEAN Champions.

Singapore was chasing the game even when Saudi
got a red card during the early stages of the second half.
The game showed the difference between the two teams.
Saudi had a upper hand as they had physical presence
and bags of experience.

Singapore started with 4-5-1 formation which looked
stable at first. Khairul Amri was running all over the pitch.
They should have abandoned the long ball tactics as they
weren't effective. The Saudis had 2 strong and tall center backs.

But i think Singapore did a very good job.
A respectable loss against one of the feared sides
in Asia.

Welcome to Threat re of Dreams Lads!
so far Manchester United have spent
48 million pounds
on 3 players,
i'm so glad that they've signed
Nani and Anderson.

How will they fit in?
Nani is a direct replacement for Giggs,
Owen will fill Roy Keane's vacancy in midfield that
will make Carrick have a bigger role; maybe
taking over Scholes.

As for Anderson, tipped to be the next Ronaldinho,
will play an attacking midfielder and Rooney to be pushed
ahead if both of them starts.

If not, the new striker ( still not signed) will play
alongside Wayne Rooney and that makes Anderson
an understudy or a superb supersub for United.
That's what we need to win the Champions League.
A strong and quick first 11 and a reliable bench.

Going?
For me, Saha and maybe Heinze are going to leave
United. They've been good servants to the club.
Well, Saha's the reason why we have physio!
Heinze's an experienced defender who won
the player of the season for manutd in his
first season at United.

The gaffer prefers an attacking evra.
Silvestre claims that he will stay, so is
Wes. They're not world class players but
they are players that we can rely on when we
need them.

We missed out on Gareth Bale to spurs,
i feel that we need a defender who can play either fullbacks
as backup.
like phil neville or dennis irwin,
no disrespect to o'shea but we need someone
that can overlap and deliver a good cross.

the news have been raving about united making
another signing, a striker.
i can see what gaffer's doing, he's getting players
that can last him for 10 years.
Rooney, Ronaldo, Nani and Anderson all can play
another 10 years.

i don't see a world class striker coming in.
Etoo, Berbatov , Villa and probably Torres are
out of the list.
That leaves us Huntelaar.
A striker who looks like to be a great player ahead.
Just what gaffer wants.
Players who have not reached to their maximum
potential.
Gaffer will make them great.

i can't wait for another signing
before the tour!
